We’ve Been Busy—and We’re Just Getting Started
If you’ve been to Table Rock Lanes recently, you may have noticed a few changes.
Okay… maybe more than a few.
It’s only been a few months since new ownership took over at Table Rock Lanes, and we’ve been busy. Some changes are easy to spot the moment you pull into the parking lot. Others you’ll notice once you step inside. And a few may take another visit or two to discover.
Through all of it, the goal has been pretty simple: keep what people love about Table Rock Lanes while continuing to make it an even better place for our community to bowl, eat, play and spend time together.
And we’re just getting started.
You Can Actually See Us Now
One of the first changes happened before you even walked through the doors.
Trees and overgrowth surrounding the property were cleared, opening up the view of Table Rock Lanes and giving the property a cleaner, more welcoming appearance from the road.
It may not involve a bowling ball or an arcade game, but sometimes a better experience starts before you ever walk inside.
A Little More Room to Play
Our arcade has been growing.
We’ve expanded the arcade area to create more opportunities for kids, families—and let’s face it, plenty of adults—to keep playing between frames or after bowling.
We call it a slightly expanded arcade.
We’re using the word slightly pretty generously.
The Pro Shop Is Open
There’s another new addition at Table Rock Lanes: our Pro Shop is now open!
Whether you’re looking to step up your game, need bowling gear or just want some help finding what’s right for you, stop in and check out the newest addition to the lanes.
It’s one more way we’re working to make Table Rock Lanes a better bowling experience for everyone—from casual bowlers to those who take their frames a little more seriously.
Have a Seat. Seriously.
If you’re going to spend an afternoon or evening bowling with us, you should have somewhere comfortable to sit between turns.
New couches have been added along the bowling area, giving bowlers and guests a more comfortable place to relax, watch the action and hang out with their group.
It’s one of those improvements that doesn’t sound enormous on paper.
Then you sit down.
More Time for Good Times
We’ve also expanded our hours, giving you more opportunities throughout the week to bowl, grab something to eat, hit the arcade or just spend some time together.
Because sometimes the hardest part of getting everybody together isn’t deciding what to do.
It’s finding a time when everybody can do it.
We’re working on that part, too.
Changes Behind the Scenes
Not every improvement comes with flashing lights or a high score.
We’ve also been working behind the scenes—updating the Table Rock Lanes website, improving how you find information about parties and events, refreshing our marketing and looking for better ways to keep our customers connected with what’s happening at the lanes.
And now, you have another way to keep up with us right here through Rock Report, where we’ll share news, stories and updates from Table Rock Lanes.
Which brings us to something considerably harder to explain.
Apparently, We Have a T-Rock Now
Somewhere along the way, T-Rock entered the picture.
We asked you to help us give our newest Table Rock Lanes character a name—and you showed up with hundreds of suggestions.
When the votes were counted, T-Rock officially had a name.
What began as a mascot-naming contest quickly became something we didn’t entirely expect. Since then, T-Rock has gone bowling, grabbed some wings, headed out for a hike and helped us spread the word about our expanded hours.
And somewhere in there, he seems to have developed a personality of his own.
We have a feeling you’ll be hearing from him again.
Probably whether we like it or not.
What’s Next?
That’s the fun part.
We’re continuing to look at the bowling experience, arcade, food, parties and events, facility improvements and the little things that can make a visit to Table Rock Lanes better.
Some changes will be big.
Some will be small.
And some might occasionally involve T-Rock.
But all of them come back to the same idea: Table Rock Lanes is a place for people to spend time together.
If you haven’t visited us lately, come see what’s changed.
And if you have?
Come back. We may have changed something else since then.
Good Times. Together.
